The Killing of a Journalist

Journalist Jan Kuciak who had been investigating links between the highest level of Slovakian government and the Italian Mafia, is brutally murdered with his fiancee in their home in Slovakia. Their deaths inspire the biggest protests in Slovakia since the fall of communism and expose corruption at the highest level of government, leading to the resignation of Prime Minister Robert Fico. The film follows the investigation to uncover those who ordered the couples’ murders. More information here.
