  • Where and when will the International Anti-Corruption Conference 2026 (#IACC2026) take place?

    #IACC2026 will be held in person from 1–4 December 2026 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The event venue is the Barceló Bávaro Convention Center, located just 20 km from Punta Cana International Airport.

  • Who attends the IACC?

    Anyone interested in fighting corruption is welcome to register for the IACC. Approximately 2,000 people typically attend the event. Part of what is special about the IACC is that participants come from a range of backgrounds: community activists, non-profit staff, high-level policymakers, business people, policy experts and academics.

  • Will it be possible to participate in the conference online?

    Throughout its 40-year history, the IACC has been an exciting opportunity for thousands of people all around the world to meet physically and exchange ideas. In 2020, COVID-19 led to a shift in this approach, opening up the conference proceedings to an even wider online audience. The primary focus of the IACC 2026 will be at the physical venue in Punta Cana by offering sessions online after.

  • Can I use the same email address to create multiple registrations?

    No. Each email address may only be used for one registration. The platform operates on a strict one-email-per-registrant basis in order to ensure account integrity, prevent duplicate registrations, and maintain accurate user identification. This structure is also necessary for security purposes and to support compliance with applicable data protection and privacy regulations, including proper management of user consent for communications and data processing.

  • When is the full agenda ready?

    The program will not be published until the workshops have been reviewed and the agenda has been confirmed.

    The program is developed through a collaborative process, the final version will be confirmed once the workshops submitted before February 23 have been reviewed and the selected sessions integrated into the schedule.   • I’m a journalist who would like to attend the conference. How should I apply?

    Media accreditation will be open later on. A press advisory will be sent at this time. If you wish to sign up to receive this and other advisories from Transparency International, please email [email protected]. Members of the press do not pay to attend the conference.

    If you are a journalist at the beginning or middle of your career, you may be eligible for our Young Journalists programme. Click here  to discover more about this programme during the last editions of the IACC.

  • How does the IACC ensure diversity – both among speakers and participants?

    The IACC is committed to inviting speakers from diverse countries and from a variety of fields – including civil society and community activists, policymakers, business leaders and experts. One of the essential purposes of the conference is to bring together such a variety of leaders to review what has worked and make joint commitments to tackle corruption.

    The Transparency International movement is a network of over 100 independent chapters and national contacts around the world. Through this network, invitations are shared globally to ensure anti-corruption champions from around the world are included in the agenda and among the participants. We also partner with civil society and business networks to spread the word about the conference.

  • Where does the conference take place?

  • How do I apply for a Dominican Republic visa?

    IACC delegates are responsible for their visa application process. Click here for more information.

  • What is the cancellation and refund policy?

    All registration cancellations must be received in writing via an email to [email protected]. Please also review the IACC 2026 Registration Policy by clicking here.

    Full refund: Notification must be provided in writing by, Monday, 31 October 2026 before midnight CEST, via an email to [email protected]. A full refund will be provided within 60 days; however, an administrative fee will be charged by Stripe. 

    All refunds will be processed within 2 months after the conclusion of the conference. All refunds will be issued back to the original payment form. 

    Any fees, charges, or processing costs imposed by the payment provider in connection with a refund request shall be borne in full by the participant requesting the refund.  

    Do note that exchange rates fluctuations may take occur and the IACC organisers cannot take responsibility for such changes.  

    All fees, charges, and processing costs applied by the payment provider are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.  

    NOTE: Please remember that cancelling your conference registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Attendees are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.

Each delegate is responsible for their own visa application process.

We encourage all participants attending the IACC 2026 in the Dominican Republic to check the requirements for a visa and initiate the process if necessary.
