Anna Therese Day is an award-winning journalist and social media researcher. She was a 2013 Fulbright Fellow, a 2012 United Nations Press Fellow, and was named one of Google Zeitgeist’s top 30 Great Young Minds in 2011. Day is a regular contributor to The New York Times Women in the World. Her coverage focuses on US foreign policy, women’s issues, and youth organizing and has been featured in CNN, Al Jazeera, VICE, and numerous print publications. Neha is an independent multimedia journalist reporting across the globe. She reports at the intersections of climate, gender, conflict, health, human rights, emerging democracies, and politics.

Neha is originally from Boston, MA. She attended Tufts University and received a masters in journalism from the University of California, Annenberg School.

Laura Dixon is a freelance journalist and an associate editor at the Global Investigative Journalism Network. She is currently based in the UK after four years reporting from Colombia, and previous freelance stints in Paris and Austin, Texas. Her work on the end of Colombia’s 52-year conflict with the FARC guerrilla group and the Venezuelan migration crisis was published by The Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, and US News, among others. She has received grants and fellowships from the International Women’s Media Foundation, the Pulitzer Center, and the CSIS in Washington, DC.

Gabriela is a storyteller researching the intersections of journalism, innovation, and product strategy. She holds a Master’s in Interactive Journalism. At Unbias The News, a cross-border international newsroom, she is the Data & Multimedia editor. She mainly covers migration, human rights, gender inequality, and climate justice. She is also a TEDx speaker and a DEI trainer.

Mary Mundeya is a multi award winning freelance Zimbabwean journalist who regularly contributes stories to The NewsHawks, The FeedZW and Africa News. She is passionate about visual storytelling and has produced more than 30 mini – documentaries. Her work has earned her seven national media awards between 2021 & 2022 including being Zimbabwe’s Female Journalist of the Year.

Ana Curic is a freelance investigative and data journalist based in Belgrade, Serbia. During five years of experience, Ana has worked for the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) Serbia and collaborated with different media outlets such as ICIJ, OCCRP, Investigate Europe and openDemocracy, mostly covering misuse of public funds, justice, financial crime and human rights. She was shortlisted for various journalism awards and won the Quality Journalism Award 2021 in Hungary.

Anrike Visser is a corruption investigator and illicit finance policy advisor. She has over a decade of experience investigating financial crime and corruption in Europe and Southeast Asia. She also advises European governments, EU institutions, International Financial Institutions and private companies on policies countering illicit finance and corruption. Previously, she worked at the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets. In 2018, she founded a media startup focussed on investigative journalism on illicit finance across Southeast Asia and lived in Myanmar from 2017 until 2021.

Amanda Sperber is an East Africa based freelance foreign correspondent with bases in Nairobi and Mogadishu. She is a 2018 IWMF Fellow and 2018 Truman Fellow. Her 2016 coverage from Sudan’s rebel-held Blue Nile region was shortlisted for an Amnesty International Media Award. Amanda writes dispatches and features online and in print for Agence France Presse, the Atlantic, the Daily Beast, Foreign Policy, Marie Claire, Roads and Kingdoms and VICE, among numerous other publications. The ACLU, Congressional Research Service, Council on Foreign Relations, Freedom House and various UN agencies cite her expert reporting.

Sally Hayden is a freelance journalist currently focused on migration, conflict, and humanitarian crises. She comes from Ireland, and reports across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. This year, she won first prize at the European Migration Media Awards, and was a finalist for the Amnesty International, Frontline Club, Kurt Schork, and One World Media Awards. She is currently a member of Transparency International’s Anti-Corruption Award Committee. 

Selase Kove-Seyram, a Ghanaian journalist and digital media producer with over twelve years of experience in news reporting and multimedia storytelling, specializes in the production of investigative documentaries. He has also worked with a network of young investigative journalists and media organizations in Nigeria to produce investigative stories about corruption for a project funded by the MacArthur Foundation. Selase is a 2022 Nieman Fellow of the Nieman Foundation for journalism at Harvard University.

Maurice Oniang’o is a Kenyan Investigative Journalist and Documentary Filmmaker focused on social justice, human rights, governance, wildlife crime, anti-corruption and conservation.

His work has been published by National Geographic, The Continent, Al Jazeera, EuroNews, 100Reporters, GIJN, NTV and KTN. I am Elsa Löwdin, a 29-year-old documentary filmmaker from Sweden, and now based in Berlin, Germany. I studied documentary film production at the Red Cross school in Stockholm, and have worked independently and as an in-house agency director/producer.Since summer 2022 I am a co-founder of Oblique Collective, a new agency creating videos for mission-driven organisations in the fields of human rights, sustainability and governance.

I strongly believe that portraying these issues in film can help people not just relate to each other, but hopefully also inspire change.

Bolanle Omisore is a Lagos, Nigeria based journalist and has contributed to a number of publications from National Geographic.com to The Africapitalist magazine to NPR. She covers international energy and business news from the African continent. She is also a 2013 McCloy Fellow, and a 2011 International Reporting Fellow for the International Center for Journalists. Before attending graduate journalism school at New York University, she worked with both The New York Times and ABC News. A native of Tampa, Florida, she is a graduate of Howard University.

Hélder Xavier is a young journalist from Mozambique. Since 2009 he has worked for @Verdade, a weekly newspaper with an estimated print readership of 600.000 (Verdade means “truth” in Portuguese, Mozambique’s official language). A graduate of Eduardo Mondlane University, Maputo, where he studies Journalism, he has special interest in investigative journalism, citizen participation in the media and the democratization of access to information. He attended the Citizen Media Summit 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya, organised by Global Voices; the International Anti-Corruption Conference organised by Transparency International, and the Power Reporting – The African Investigative Journalism Conference, organised by Wits University. Hélder seeks to contribute to a better society; free of the corruption that is evident every day in his country, Mozambique, especially in publics institutions.

Yolaan Aguemon is a South African journalist currently based in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. She started her career as an on-air news reporter for eNCA, South Africa’s first 24-hour news channel, and was most recently the Head of Content at Africa.com. Yolaan holds a masters degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, a Bachelor of Philosophy (BPhil) degree in Journalism from Stellenbosch University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Film and Media Studies from the University of Cape Town (UCT). She is also a CNN Journalism (CJF) and Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa (BMIA) Fellow.

Stephanie Burnett is an American multimedia journalist based in Hong Kong, and currently Duty Editor with Storyful news agency. She has written and produced videos for TIME.com and has freelanced for the South China Morning Post. Stephanie was previously Country Profiles Editor for Transparency International in Berlin and has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Hong Kong.

Natalie Sedletska – a leading Ukrainian journalist with a vast experience in investigations of the corruption schemes of the Ukrainian public officials. In summer 2014, she founded a resonance investigative TV programme called “Schemes. Corruption in details” with the support of the American Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, which since then is regularly broadcasted by the Ukrainian First TV channel (Ukrainian public broadcaster). In 2016, she received Oleksandr Kryvenko award, the most prestigious award in the Ukrainian journalism. She was also on the list of the young Ukrainian leaders “Top 30 Under 30” formed by the Ukrainian English language outlet «Kyiv Post». In 2015 Natalie went undercover as part of a British Channel 4 television documentary, “From Russia With Cash,” about corrupt deals fueling London’s property boom. Natalie is part of the famous YanukovychLeaks project which was awarded the Global Shining Light Award in Norway in 2015 and The M100 Sanssouci Media Award in Potsdam in 2014.

David Klaubert is working as a political editor at the German newspaper “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”, currently based in Frankfurt, Germany. He writes about social issues and is especially interested in Portuguese-speaking countries such as Brazil and Angola. His career as a journalist began on a freelance basis, working for different newspapers, magazines and websites in Germany. At the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt David Klaubert studied Journalism, Political and Latin American Studies. Traveling to South America and Africa he improved his language skills and now speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish, some French and some Swahili.

Sports journalist, currently living on the border between the United States and Mexico, Manuel R. Medina has regrettably seen his country being devoured by a corrupt system that has not only eaten some of the government but also common citizens. He wants to help change that.

With a background as reporter for media outlets such as SanDiegoRed.com, El Mexicano, MedioTiempo.com, Uniradio; as press officer for the Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente football squad, basketball team Tijuana Zonkeys; and currently working for both FIFA and Concacaf, football’s biggest entities; Medina has been trained as a multiplatform journalist who doesn’t hesitate to use everything at his disposal to transmit an idea.

And because of this experience, he wants to increase his field of knowledge of social problems, like corruption, which is very common in Latin American countries.

He feels the responsibility, as a journalist, to show people that a corrupt system can be broken and citizens can break free from the injustices imposed by this structure; free of political bias because of his background on the sports field, Manuel R. Medina is hopeful the 15th International Anti-Corruption Conference 2012 will give him the skills needed to succeed on this very difficult task.

He is currently building a technology based media outlet called TJ Sports, where fans will be able to support their local sports heroes, with videos, articles and television shows, without the need to look around the Web for them. Plus this will allow him to get more social causes out to sports fanatics of his region, thanks to the exposure and reach sports have on his country.

Jessica Weiss is a bilingual independent writer and journalist based in Bogotá, Colombia. Faten Jebai is a freelance Video & Photojournalist based in Beirut, Lebanon. Her recent work focuses on refugee crisis in the Middle East and has been broadcasted on Deutsche Welle TV as well as other international media outlets.
Faten trains on the topics of Video Journalism and Visual Storytelling in the Arab region. She also implements workshops on the topic of Mobile Journalism as a tool of empowerment in marginalized areas.

Fadima Sy is a Senegalese journalist working for the municipal radio of Dakar. She obtained a bachelor in information and communication from the ISSIC. Fadima likes working on the ground and is interested in issues related to politics, good governance and the fight against corruption. This passion stems from her participation in an investigative journalism training organised by Forum Civil in 2010, as part of the DGT Programme (Democracy, Governance Transparency). The goal of the Dakar’s municipal radio is to observe political life and the actions of the city hall of Dakar, a goal which she shares.

Nicky Rehbock is a South African journalist and editor formerly based in Johannesburg. Having worked for the civil society organisation Corruption Watch, which was launched in South Africa at the beginning of 2012, Nicky is now Online Communications Officer at Transparency International. Nicky’s print and online writing career has taken her from agriculture, to energy trends, to nation-branding and now, to corruption. Her knack of soaking up vast reams of information and communicating the important bits in a compelling, meaningful way has seen her doing work in a number of South African newsrooms for various publications. She has also been involved in training rural teachers across South Africa on how to write and publish articles online.

Her interest in making information accessible to diverse audiences and telling them why they should support action on certain issues drives her work at Transparency International.

Andrea Arzaba is a Mexican journalist and media consultant. As an independent journalist, she covers social justice and human mobility issues. She has published her articles in various media outlets including Proceso, Animal Politico, National Geographic Traveler, Global Voices Online, Huff Post, among many others. She is the founder of several media projects including an online magazine on gender issues called The SunFlower Post and Georgetown University’s Student Blog: Transformaciones. Andrea is currently a Justice Travel Fellow.

Andrea is a fluent Spanish, English, Portuguese and French speaker. She holds a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University.

Elle is a well known journalist in Kyrgyzstan with large scale investigative reports and Assistant Professor at American University of Central Asia. She had recently revealed the secret ties between the Kyrgyz President’s office with unknown Czech company which was awarded with $1 billion governmental contract without public tenders to establish energy facilities in Kyrgyzstan.

Elle had rich history with local and regional problematic stories; in 2017, she investigated an airplane crash with smuggled cargo in Bishkek’s airport, which was the reason behind the lawsuit by President Almazbek Atambaev against her media org Azattyk Media (RFE/RL in KG) in order to influence the editorial line not to go further with the story. Later Elle published the story which revealed the interests of kyrgyz ex-Prime minister Sapar Isakov to the land privatisation near State Residency. This report became a reason of big resistance between journalist and Prime minister. With Isakov’s hand Finance police charged Alkanova up to 5 years in prison for allegedly disclosure of bank secrecy, but after 5 months General Prosecutor dropped all charges. The story has ended with Prime minister’s imprisonment.

Paula is a Peruvian journalist passionate about human rights and investigative journalism. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science in Peru and obtained a master’s in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics. Driven to cover corruption, human rights violations, religious conflicts and ethnic disputes Paula’s next journalism endeavor will take her to Cambodia where she will be reporting for the Cambodia Daily.

Paula has published articles related to the environmental impact of the extractive industry, indigenous rights and social conflicts in Peru, she has worked with CONNECTAS an investigative journalism initiative in the Americas, at the Peruvian Press Council delving into issues of media ethics, and most recently at NPR’s D.C. headquarters where she built skills in radio production that she’ll take with her to South East Asia.

Lacking equal human rights in my community and living in a conflict region were my major reasons to study Journalism and Communication in Birzeit University, followed by a program certificate at the Edward Murrow College of Communication in the US.

I am an optimistic and energized person and so continuously strive to promote social development. I’ve attended several international programs that taught me about culture diversity and strengthened my social participation.

I always had a passion to give a voice to voiceless people and so I created my own blog where I report about Palestinian daily-life stories. Through this blog I aim to promote change and defy stereotypes in my community.

Hafawa Rebhi is an independant trilingual journalist. In her native Tunisia, the transition following the fall of the dictatorship in January 2011 has been hectic and intense offering her the opportunity to closely follow the ongoing important unfolding affairs of her society . Hafawa’s stories have reflected a palthora of socio-economic and political issues such as claims for economic rights, struggles for a fair sharing of resources, migration, the transitional justice process , the drafting of a new constitution and the efforts to reform crucial sectors like media, secruity , health and the judiciary. Hafawa covered these stories while writing for L’Economiste Maghrébin, le Maghreb Hebdo, Assafir Al Arabi, Nawaat and the IACC blog.

Hafawa’s total immersion in the complex reality of her country has often been enriched by travels abroad. Whether it was about covering the IACC in Brazil in 2012 , taking part in the Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Rio in 2013, covering the anticipated elections in Luxembourg in 2013, participating in Thomson Reuters Foudation program in London or joining NRGI’s trainees in Lebanon, Hafawa tried her best to export the Tunisian experience and to import the best practices of modern journalism.

Hafawa is currently focusing on reporting governance in the hydrocarbon sector. She aspires to specialize in extractive industries. She is a fluent English, Arabic, French and Italian speaker. When she is not working on a new story, she reads History magazines or Poetry collections.

Yinka Adeparusi is an international award-winning photojournalist with National Mirror newspaper in Lagos, one of the most widely read newpapers in Nigeria. Before joining National Mirror, he has interned with The Punch and NewAge newspapers as a reporter and photojournalist.

A graduate of Lagos State University School of Communication where he bagged double honours in Photojournalism and Cinematography, he is a multiple award winner whose works expose the ills of his immediate environment and society at large, with a special lens for recording the ‘why’ frames. His work centers majorly around human rights abuse and social exclusion, and with special attention on the rights of children.

Photographer, journalist and radio show host, Parker Mah has worked freelance in multimedia since 2002, both in Canada and abroad. He has collaborated with a diverse range of media- and community-based organizations including BushRadio (Cape Town), VOICE (Dhaka), Tactical Technology Collective (Berlin), Life Stories Montreal, l’Institut du Nouveau Monde, CitizenShift / Parole Citoyenne, Alternatives, CKUT Radio, and Crossroads International. Virginie Ngyuen is a photojournalist currently based in Cairo where she is a regular contributer to the studio HansLucas and contributor for Agence France Presse (AFP). A graduate in Journalism at IHECS (Institute of High Studies of Social Communications in Brussels), she has also spent time at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in order to develop here skills in the field of photojournalism.

In August 2011, she co-founded the Collective HUMA to emphasizes social issues and explore a more humanist photography.

Domas is a freelance journalist, media project manager and university tutor from Lithuania. Domas as been working in various TV projects for more than 10 years, mainly focusing on social and economical issues.. He’s been hosting shows and doing social and economical stories for Lithuanian national television. Currently, he moved to another national-wide Lietuvos Rytas television where he works as an editor and hosts morning and midday news shows. Apart from his native Lithuanian, Domas also speaks English, Russian and German language. His stories have won EuroMedia award “For The Best TV Story” in 2010 and 2011. Domas also works as an expert in creative communication, tutor in Lithuanian schools and has aTV & Film projects course in Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.

Abby Ellis is a reporter and documentary filmmaker based in New York City, where she covers surveillance, climate change, systematic failures and corruption across a wide-range of platforms. Her latest work can be seen on the documentary series VICE on HBO.

Wandiswa Ntengento is a journalist based in South Africa. Ntengento has experience in broadcast, print and online journalism. She is currently at BBC News in Johannesburg. Prior to her move to Johannesburg, she worked as a freelance reporter and radio news anchor where she covered human interest stories. Early this year, she spent two weeks reporting in Uganda with the International Women’s Media Foundation. In 2014 she was voted Journalist of The Month by the International Journalists Network and spent a year as a fellow for Rhodes University’s Future Journalist Program. She is an alumni of two Thomson Reuters Foundation courses.

Luigi is a Berlin-based reporter and features writer with a background in foreign policy. His recent focus has been on immigration to Germany and Europe.

He has produce a video report on Islam in Berlin and a photo essay on highly-qualified Syrian refugees. His multimedia work includes stories of suburban tensions in Milan and social engagement in Scampia, a stronghold of the Neapolitan mafia. He works in Italian, English and German.

Ayee Macaraig is a Filipino multimedia reporter and anchor with the news website Rappler.com based in Manila. She covers politics, governance and international affairs in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

A journalist for 7 years, Ayee has reported on corruption controversies in the Philippines, media freedom in Myanmar, elections in Indonesia, the United Nations in New York, and the golden jubilee of Singapore.

She was a fellow of the Southeast Asian Press Alliance and the prestigious Dag Hammarskjöld Fund for Journalists, and was executive producer at the ABS-CBN News Channel. Ayee is passionate about free speech, women’s empowerment, and accountable governance.

I am a Palestinian journalist living in the Occupied Palestine. I graduated from the Faculty for Media at An-Najah National University in Nablus city in 2014, where I specialized in TV broadcasting. I have an excellent experience as a photojournalist. I’m a member of Activestills photographic collective (www.Activestills.org) since 2012. We are a group of activist photographers living in Palestine/Israel. We view ourselves as part of the struggle against all forms of oppression, racism, and violations of the basic right to freedom.

My work focuses on the daily life of the Palestinian population under the Israeli military occupation in the Palestinian villages and cities. My work has been shown in many local exhibitions and various international exhibitions across Europe, the US, and the Middle East.

María is a Spanish journalist who started her career at El País, the main newspaper in her country, until the economic crisis there swept her to Brazil. Interested in human rights and international affairs, she is currently based in São Paulo, where she first worked for Folha de São Paulo and a wide range of Spanish and Mexican media. Currently she is web editor of El País Brasil, the Portuguese edition of the global newspaper. Maria speaks Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and is currently working on perfecting her English.

Stefania Rousselle is a French-American, award-winning freelance journalist, film director and director of photography, based in Paris, France. In 2013, she was named honoree in News and Politics by the Webby Awards for her reporting on sex trafficking in Spain. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, PBS/Frontline, Time.com, Global Post, Le Monde, Le Figaro, Elle, France Télévisions among others. She was a Visiting Scholar at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and holds a MA in history from the Université Paris-Sorbonne.

Sun Narin, works as the editor-in-chief for Voice of Democracy (VOD), which is a multimedia platform including radio and online news. VOD mainly focuses on political stories and issues related to good governance and democracy. His reporting mainly focuses on political conflicts, political analysis and persistent issues including corruption, land grabbing and human rights violation. In addition to this, Sun also works part-time for the Wall Street Journal, where he reports about issues of international interest including political situation and protest, human right violations, garment sector, Khmer Rouge, land concession and ASEAN.

Ghazala Irshad is a freelance journalist who has most recently worked as Social Media Manager for The GroundTruth Project foreign correspondence outlet, and for the UAE-produced, social media-driven travel show Peeta Planet. Previously, she was based in Egypt covering the Arab Spring while completing her Master’s in TV & Digital Journalism at the American University in Cairo. Her work has appeared in Gawker, CNN, The Cairo Review of Foreign Affairs, World Policy Institute, and Roads and Kingdoms, among others. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

A trained multimedia journalist, Grace Li was with Reuters for more than three years where she wrote about a wide range of topics from China’s social issues to Hong Kong’s biggest graft case. Grace currently works as an investigator who is engaged in projects to help reduce corruption in Asia.

Grace earned her Bachelor’s degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a Master’s in Journalism from the University of Hong Kong. During school years she worked for BBC and ABC News in Hong Kong, as well as China’s national media and the Olympic Committee in Beijing.

Since 2009 I have been working in the newspaper and in the online media. Kaliningrad (Russia) regional newspaper “Dvornik” (Janitor) is closely connected to Kaliningrad news and analytics online media RUGRAD.EU. It focuses on the politics and economics mainly in regional aspects. For the moment I am contributing editor both at “Dvornik” and RUGRAD.EU.

I have obtained degree in Political and Social Sciences in I. Kant State University (Kaliningrad, Russia) in 2007. Also I studied in Turku University (Finland) – European and Baltic Sea Region Studies Programme (2005) and History and Politics of European Integration (2009).

Rajneesh Bhandari is the founder, chief editor, and CEO of Nepal Investigative Multimedia Journalism Network, a non-profit that produces investigative stories on social justice issues and corruption in Nepal and also trains journalists on advanced multimedia reporting. Rajneesh is an award-winning and experienced multimedia journalist, investigative reporter, filmmaker, and editor whose multimedia works have been published in major news outlets around the world.

Jimmy Chalk is a visual journalist based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a frequent contributor to The New York Times, ESPN, CBSNews, GlobalPost and Al-Jazeera and is a founding member of the New York City arts collective and production company Nomadique.

Andrew is a Kenyan journalist working with NTV, one of the biggest television stations in East Africa owned by the Nation Media Group. He’s been a TV reporter for five years now, having previously worked with Kiss TV and Citizen TV, also in Kenya.

Kait Bolongaro is a freelance reporter currently based in Europe. A journalist for the past six years, her work has been published by Al-Jazeera English, BBC, The Guardian, NPR, VICE and the Middle East Eye. She covers politics, science, business, human rights and the environment from Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. In 2016, her coverage of Down Syndrome received an award for science reporting from the World Health Summit and the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting. Kait was also a fellow with the International Women’s Media Foundation reporting on politics and civic engagement in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Stephanie Anderson is a television, radio and online journalist with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, working in the Melbourne newsroom. She joined the ABC as a cadet journalist in 2012, after working for regional news media. Stephanie received a graduate diploma from RMIT University in 2009, and has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne with majors in French and Journalism. Throughout her career she has covered breaking news stories and generated original stories.

Brahim Karim is a Freelance Broadcast journalist living in Casablanca-Morocco. His principal mission is to prepare episodes for the bimonthly famous program 45 MINUTES produced by CONNEXION MEDIA for first Moroccan state channel Al Aoula.

Brahim regularly contributes with the editorial team in preparation of tens of episodes about wide range of topics, (education, health, transports, unemployment..) since 2015. In three years we won two NATIONAL PRESS PRIZES.

Solomon Goshu is currently a Public Policy Advisor at the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Ethiopia, and freelance journalist at the Ethiopian Reporter. Until recently, he was a Senior Editor at the Ethiopian Reporter, one of the leading private newspapers in Ethiopia. He has more than 8 years’ experience in journalism and is known for his in depth feature articles on domestic and regional political and legal affairs.  He has written extensively on issues related to corruption, and is an active member of Transparency Ethiopia. Solomon is a lawyer by training with a Master’s degree in public and constitutional law; he holds a bachelor degree in journalism. He is also a part time lecturer at the School of law, Addis Ababa University. He is interested in engaging in discussion and debates on policies and strategies related to regional integration and enthusiastic about building a wide range of network and relationships with experts and professionals.

María Luz Nóchez is a Salvadoran based journalist specialized in Arts and culture, LGBTQ+ community and violence against women. Has a Bachelor in Communication Sciences and has taken short courses organized by the Foundation for New Journalism (FNPI), including the Gabriel García Márquez Fellowship in Cultural Journalism (2016); and by El Faro. She is also an International Journalist Programme 2018 Alumni.

On 2017, Nóchez won the Latin American Prize for Investigative Journalism for the article “Why Do 90% of Child Rapes Go Unpunished?”, granted by the Institute for Press and Society and Transparency International.

Julius Bizimungu is a young Rwandan Business Journalist with keen interest in Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs), Finance and other money matters. He works for The New Times Publications Ltd, Rwanda’s leading daily English Newspaper.

He is an ardent Internet of Things (IoT) and latest technologies reporter, having studied a course in IoT at King’s College London. He analyses and interprets technology and business trends and digital media as part of his daily work. He is also a Global Investigative Journalism Fellow.

Banjo Damilola is an investigative journalist with Nigeria’s leading citizen journalism news website. She is passionate about improving the standard of education in Nigeria hence uses journalism as a tool to expose the decadence in the education sector. Banjo believes that every child should have access to quality education. Her investigations have been published across Nigerian news platforms. Banjo has a Bachelor degree in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan.

I am Kaforo Moke Olivier. Bachelor in Communication from the University of Kinshasa (2006). I am a journalist since 2007 in the newspaper Le Potentiel published in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of
the Congo). I am responsible for the Economy desk. I am a consultant in some other local media as well as some non-governmental organizations in the country. Concerned about the issue of governance, the fight against corruption is my battle horse.

Gift Olivia Samuel is a Nigerian Journalist with The Sight News(www.thesightnews.com), an Online Newspaper based in Abuja.

Before joining The Sight News, she worked with Per Second News Online based in the US as a journalist and interviewer and has also interned with DAAR Communications PLC, owners of AIT and Raypower based in Nigeria.She obtained a Bachelor in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and has spent most of her professional years working on the online platform.

Kwazi Dlamini is a young South African journalist working for Corruption Watch, a chapter of TI in South Africa.  I write about corruption mostly in the public sector, I bring what happens in the dark to light and speak for those who cant speak for themselves.  At the beginning of my journalism career I have always been fascinated by tackling socio-economic issues in the country and corruption became my main focus.  I hold a National Diploma in Journalism and a Bachelor Degree of Technology in the same field from Durban University of Technology in South Africa.

Nicholas is a photojournalist with The Observer Newspaper who does documentary , events and has a vast experience . As photojournalist, a writer and blogger, he has covered major and historical events around Uganda and the continent, many of which have been in the areas of health, sports,conflict and development. Brazilian writer and journalist with specialization in human rights, Talita is currently studying in the Master’s Program International Education at Ludwigsburg University (Germany). She worked for Globo (biggest communication company in Latin America) and she was part of the team awarded the second place in the XXIX Human Rights Journalism Prize, denouncing cases of omission and corruption in Rio de Janeiro state. Talita has also worked on awarded projects related to brazilian public policies, is co-founder and editor of the Women’s Observatory, an institution dedicated to women’s rights, and she has written for international media such as VICE magazine.

Anne Sofie is a Danish writer and digital storyteller dedicated to projects about freedom of speech, identity, nationalism, migration, gender and corruption in Latin America, Russia and Europe.
Her work has been published in Deutsche Welle, Danish Broadcasting Corporation, EuroNews, Welt-Sichten, Politiken, Hong Kong Broadcast TV, O Globo – and the world’s first slum reporting news agency in Brazil, Agência de Notícias das Favelas.

Wilfredo Miranda Aburto is a Nicaraguan journalist. He is a reporter in the independent publication “Confidencial” and the television program “Esta Semana”. His journalistic investigations have won different awards nationally and internationally. His reports have been published in international newspapers, such as El Faro, Nomad, Fusion, Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post among others.

Delfin Mocache Massoko is director of Diario Rombe, an online media platform based in Valencia, Spain. This activist was a key witness in the court hearing that convicted the Vice president of Equatorial Guinea in Paris in October 2017. Since its foundation, Diario Rombe has published the most important leaks on corruption in Equatorial Guinea, denouncing ongoing corruption that is not visible for most of the international community as well as the poverty that this create in his country. He has been consistently calling for asset recovery and repatriation. Delfin Mocache is considered one of the most relevant anti-corruption investigative journalist of his country.

Elena Loginova is a reporter for OCCRP. She was part of the cross border investigative teams for the Russian and Azerbaijani Laundromats and the Panama and Paradise Papers. She was also a co-author of “Killing Pavel” documentary.

Manasseh Azure Awuni is an award-winning investigative journalist and writer with the Multimedia Group in Ghana. In 2011, he was adjudged Ghana’s most promising young journalist and the overall best journalist in 2012. His work has uncovered high level corruption in government leading to jailing of some officials engaged in corruption, cancellation of government contracts and retrieval of millions of dollars. In 2018, Manasseh was awarded the overall best journalist in the West African Media Excellence award after his investigative documentary won him the best reporter in the anti-corruption category of the West African Media Excellence Award. That investigation led to the cancellation of a shady $74 million contract awarded to a waste management company in Ghana. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and a master’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana.

Mohamed Jallali is a Tunisian journalist, working with the Tunisian watchdog organization “I WATCH-organisation” as an investigative journalist since October 2016. He is doing articles, investigative reporting and data journalism that tracks the misuse in public service, the illicit finance and conflict of interest.
He has a bachelor degree in print journalism, and participated in many trainings on investigative journalism, multimedia storytelling and the tools to follow the illicit money with ARIJ organization (arab reporters for investigative journalism) and thomson reuters foundation.
He has a couple of investigative reports published in print or electronic Tunisian newspaper.
