Adrian Brown is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Windfall Trust, a nonprofit policy accelerator that helps governments, institutions and communities prepare for the economic consequences of advanced AI. Its work centres on labour displacement, the concentration of wealth and market power, the erosion of the tax base and the distributional choices these pressures force on public institutions. As productivity gains from AI accrue to a small number of firms and asset holders, the capacity of states to tax, regulate and redistribute comes under strain, with direct implications for accountability and public trust.

Adrian previously co-founded the Centre for Public Impact, a global nonprofit working on government effectiveness and legitimacy, which he led as it grew to around 70 staff. He has spent his career at the intersection of public policy, institutional reform and innovation, working with national governments, city administrations, multilateral organisations and philanthropic funders. He is based in Sweden and works globally.
