Clayton Weimers is the Executive Director of RSF North America, the US-based affiliate of Reporters Without Borders (RSF). He oversees a team that defends press freedom across the English-speaking Americas and advances RSF’s global priorities to advocate for journalists and everyone’s right to information. His writing on press freedom has appeared in publications such as the Guardian,  Newsweek, The Hill, and the Independent. He joined RSF in 2022 after a career in political campaigns. He holds an AM in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a BA from Pitzer College.
