We are delighted to announce that in exactly one year the 17th International Anti-Corruption Conference will begin! The 17th IACC will take place from the 1st-4th December 2016 in Panama City, Panama.
It will be hosted by the Panamanian Government represented by the Autoridad Nacional de Transparencia y Acceso a la Informacion (the Panamanian National Authority of Transparency and Access to Information) and organised by the IACC Council and Transparency International, with the participation of the Fundación para el Desarrollo de la Libertad Ciudadana (Transparency International Panama).
IACC Series Director Roberto Perez Rocha was in Panama last week where he met the Panamanian Government and the Panamanian National Authority of Transparency and access to Information and Transparency International Panama. They were able to finalize the dates and discuss the way forward over the coming months. With the dates decided, preparation is now underway on the conference theme and agenda, and we’ll have more information for you soon on both of these topics.
