The Dominican Republic will host the 2026 International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC)

The 22nd edition of the International Anti-Corruption Conference (#IACC2026), the world’s largest independent global forum on fighting corruption, will take place in the Dominican Republic in 2026.

“With its strategic position, the Dominican Republic is crucial in tackling trafficking, money laundering, and asset recovery. The IACC in Santo Domingo is our moment to unite, innovate, and create global impact against corruption.”
Rueben Lifuka, Chair, IACC Council

 About the IACC
Since the first IACC in 1983, it has brought together policymakers, business leaders, civil society organisations, young people, activists and journalists from over 140 countries to highlight the global impact of corruption and how we can work together to fight it. During the most recent IACC in June 2024, co-hosted by the Lithuanian government in Vilnius, over 2000 people from all walks of life addressed key issues from climate crimes, lack of trust in public governance, and the spread of populist regimes and democratic backsliding.

“I’m already looking forward to hearing from the Dominican Republic about the successes the country has made in recent years towards press freedom and safeguarding the civic space. Both priorities must be at the forefront of the fight against corruption and can be central topics for this IACC agenda.”
Daniel Eriksson, CEO of Transparency International

Past IACCs welcomed global leaders from the anti-corruption community such as the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, 71st United States Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović Burić, the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Mathias Cormann,   President of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) Tamara Wittes, and USAID Administrator Samantha Power.

We encourage interested participants – including heads of state, policymakers, business leaders, civil society organisations and journalists – to reach out to the IACC team to learn how you can engage with the next conference, from developing the agenda to designing workshops. Latest updates, including the save the date, theme announcement, workshop calls and the opening of registration will also be shared on our website in the coming months. We look forward to welcoming you in the Dominican Republic in 2026.
